Grandma

This past week has been a Rollercoaster. My Grandma had to go to the hospital last Saturday. She was having problems with low blood pressure and dehydration. She was admitted Sat night/Sun morning and the Drs. discovered she had pneumonia. Since then she has been battling problems with her kidneys, her lungs, blood clots and a heart attack. For a while we were afraid her body wasn't strong enough to fight everything but she has surprised us all! As of today her kidneys are doing better, the pneumonia is slowly clearing up, she is getting Lasix to help with the fluid on her lungs and Heparin to get rid of the blood clots. She was having problems with her swallowing/eating but that seems to be much better. Gram is very alert and seems to just be waiting for her body to heal-which it is doing. Hopefully she'll be able to come home soon. It's really weird to walk be her room and not have her in it.
