Quick Update

I feel like I have been neglecting my blog lately. I seem to be spending my free time sewing or thinking about sewing and not posting anything. So here is a quick update on whats been going on around me. And I'll do better in posting. Promise.

• Michael is staying up with Jake most of this week. The cost of gas has just gotten to crazy that its silly for him to drive all the way home just to sleep. Especially when his cousin lives so close. And he actually has time to relax and hang out instead of going right to bed. Although, Jake and his family is going to be moving down here around September so hopefully Michael will be working on a closer job site by then.


• I took Devon to her reevaluation at the Orthodontist. He wants to wait for her 12 year molars to fully come in before starting any treatment. So sometime next spring she'll be getting braces on the top teeth and a retainer for the bottom. Her crowding isn't too bad so she'll only need the braces for 10 to 12 months.


• Devon is going to the beach this weekend. Without her parents. This is huge for her. Not so much for me though since she's going with Julianna. Julianna will keep her safe.


• Payton is SO cute. Really. I just want to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming such a perfect baby. She is practically sleeping through the night (and day too).

So that's it for now. Devon is making dinner tonight (nachos. Yummy!) and I must go supervise. Not that she needs it. I just like sitting in the kitchen and chatting with her while she's cooking.
