One of the projects I have been working on lately is the kids room. I am repainting the walls, putting new flooring in and redecorating it. Both Ryan and Regan are getting new quilts for their beds. Today I put Ryans quilt together. I still need to do the binding (I've never done binding on a quilt before) but I've got it all pieced together and tied. I used one strand each of blue, green, red and yellow embroidery thread to tie it.I'm still undecided on what type of flooring to put in their room. I'd like to have carpeting in there but I'm afraid they would do kid stuff to it and it would get ruined. My other thought is hardwood floors but thats pretty cold in the mornings. Someone help me decide!

What if you did hardwood flooring and then put an area rug on it...then if the kids mess up the rug it's not as big of a deal to replace as it would be if it was all carpeted. :)
i think thats what we'll end up doing. There are so many cute kids area rugs out there!
