Devon turned 12 on Friday. She had Damie wake her up early so she could enjoy the WHOLE day. I let her choose one gift to get during the day and the rest were for after dinner when we ate cake. Of course the gift she chose to open during the day was her big gift. We got her a cell phone. Its a firefly that lets us make it so she can only call/receive the numbers we put in it. It took me half an hour to program all our family numbers into it. Lucky for us most of our family also belongs to the Cingular friends and family thing so she won't be using up all our minutes!
One of the traditions we have in our family is that the birthday person gets to choose whatever they want for dinner. Devon chose chinese food. We all just about exploded from eating too much!
